Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), is an Indian actress. She appears primarily on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. The actress was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her early career was as a children's actress. Later, after studying Fashion Design, she returned to acting. She had her first lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began her very first Malayalam projects, and then began working with Tamil at the same time. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. It was not an immediate success in the box office. Because of her hectic schedule, in 2015 she had no choice but to pull herself out of projects on which she had already begun doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the lead part on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been in the process of being delayed, and there are speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
